This Advance CTE resource, developed with the Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA), explores how Career Technical Education (CTE) and youth apprenticeship programs can be better aligned to support student success and workforce development. The resource highlights four key features of an effective alignment model, shares examples from states implementing these strategies, and provides guidance for state leaders. The resource from Advance CTE also discusses a stronger coordination between CTE and youth apprenticeship systems can reduce duplication and expand opportunities for learners pursuing postsecondary education and careers.
